This downtown green space is a hub for family activity. The park includes a fountain, performance space, veterans memorials, an interactive water feature with child-activated sprays, and other child-friendly, touchable art.

The Veterans Plaza, dedicated on July 4, 2003, was sculpted by famed artist John Lajba. The wall lists those who died or are missing in action from the Civil War through Desert Freedom.
